After Francis Albert Ford's Death, in 1911, The family moved from their farm at Youanmite to Albert Park and later Port Melbourne.
Lillian was a Tailoress but worked in a variety of jobs during the depression years
After Lillian's marriage to Henry Burwash, she moved to West Preston, where she remained for the rest of her life.
Lillian was named after Lillian Victoria Batey, (1886-1888) daughter of Thomas Place and Eliza Ann (Ford) Batey
