Charles Kershaw WORRALL is the third child of William WORRALL and Mary/Catherine WORRALL. He was born in Liverpool, Lancashire in 1827. His eldest sister Ann WORRALL married Joseph FORD, farmer of Wilmslow, Cheshire (brother to Thomas John FORD. When Charles' sister, Catharine WORRALL was baptised on 18th April 1824 St Peter, Liverpool, Lancashire, England, the parents were listed as William Worrall & Mary WORRALL Abode: Peter Lane Occupation: Shipwright Baptised by: P. Bulmer Curate Register: Baptisms 1823 - 1825, Page 243, Entry 1936 Source: LDS Film 1656418
There is evidence of Charles's father voting in the Liverpool Poll Book 1832 as described below:

WORRALL,WILLIAM,SHIPWRIGHT,RILEY'S GARDEN,LIVERPOOL,S & D,BGS/FMN. The Liverpool Poll book shows the vote of Ann's father in the 1832 election. So Ann's father William must have died betweed 1832 and the census of 1841.
The 1841 Liverpool census listed Charles aged 15, occupation - Clerk living at Ann WORRALL aged 20 living at 12 Ryley Gardens Liverpool with his mother Mary aged 49, grandmother Ann, aged 79, sister Ann WORRALL aged 20, brother Thomas, aged 11 and sister Mary aged 12. They may have let rooms as also listed at the same address are Roleston JOHNSON, aged 20, Mariner, George BURROUGH, aged 20, pilot and William SWINDLEY, aged 30, farmer.
On 31 October 1850, at full age, Charles Kershaw WORRALL married Mary Margaret Lyall COLE at Liverpool St Bride. Mary's father is listed as Thomas COLE (deceased). Charles' father William WORRALL was also listed as deceased.
Charles was living at Smith St Kirkdale in 1850. Both fathers were already deceased. Unfortunately in Oct/Nov/Dec 1853, his wife Mary Margaret Lyall WORRALL died (Vol 8B 198)
On 20 September 1859 at age 33, Charles Kershaw WORRALL married again to Hannah Mary WILSON, age 23 (daughter of Thomas WILSON and Hannah WILSON (nee FORD) sister of Thomas John FORD. The marriage was witnessed by John GODFREY (brother-in-law) and S A Wilson (presumably Sarah Ann WILSON (Hannah's sister).
The 1861 census, Litherland, Lancashire shows Charles Kershaw WORRALL, inn keeper aged 34 living at Sefton Road Hotel, Liverpool with his wife Hannah, aged 24, his son Harry M, aged 4 months, his mother in law Hannah WILSON (nee FORD) Aged 52 and servant Mary A Radcliffe, aged 15.
The 1871 census shows Charles Kershaw WORRALL age 44 and Anna (Hannah) M WORRALL aged 34 (nee WILSON) living at Litherland, Lancashire, with their 10 year old son Harry M WORRALL and Hannah's mother, Hannah WILSON aged 60, and Sarah A WORRALL aged 27 (Charles's sister-in-law).
Charles Kershaw WORRALL died on 11 April 1877 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England and his probate date is 4 June 1877.
The family is in possession of the Family Bible belonging to Charles Kershaw WORRALL and Hannah Mary WORRALL. This Bible is in very good condition with gold leaf edges, ribbed with embossed chalice on front and read covers it has their name plate on the inside front cover. There is one hand written entry recording a baptism of John Arthur Hibble BRADSHAW.
